Running the length of the Lincolnshire Coast is a series of stunning nature reserves, some internationally acclaimed for their wildlife.

Gibraltar Point is one of the best, its huge mudflats, salt- and fresh-water attract thousands of birds migrating in spring, little terns and skylarks in summer, flocks of waders in the autumn and brent geese, shorelark, redwing and many more in winter.

Donna Nook is known to be one of the UK’s largest breeding colonies of grey seals, around 2k pups are born here between October and December.  Explore some of its 1,150 hectares of dunes and shoreline.

Three bird hides at Frampton Marsh present the perfect observation points for spotting avocets, redshanks, skylarks and whimbrels in summer and scores of species of duck in winter.

Take your pick from RSPB Freiston Shore, Far Ings and Alkborough Flats Nature Reserves, you’ll encounter wildfowl, waterbirds and acres of wildflowers.

From a bird trail to walking and cycling trails, re-energise and feed the soul on this spectacular Natural Coast.
