A quirky and magical traditional pub
Formerly the home of the High Sheriff of Sussex in the mid-16th Century and the second most listed building in Brighton & Hove after the Royal Pavilion, the Hangleton Manor is simply stunning. Full of interesting features, such as a restaurant that was once the chapel of the house, now with the 10 commandments carved on the wall, and stories of a ghostly carriage that drove up to the house (an episode of Britain’s Most Haunted was filmed here), the pub has a very quirky and magical feel.
