Natural woodland and water garden in the heart of the Norfolk Broads
Ancient woodland with over 3.5 miles of paths and a private broad. Tearoom, gift shop, bird hides, children's nature trail and plant sales area, plus a programme of events all year. Accessible to visitors with disabilities. Visit in the spring to see the UK's finest collection of candelabra primulas as well as primroses, bluebells, wood anemones, rhododendrons and azaleas. Summer brings hydrangeas and philadelphus and many wild flowers. The garden is great for birdwatching, and there are lots varieties of fungi in autumn. Winter walks are good for spotting kingfishers, deer and otters. Boat trips run from April to the end of October (additional charge).
We have mobility scooters, which visitors can borrow to explore the garden (book in advance). The tearoom and shop are fully accessible.
