RSPB Snettisham is a wilderness of mudflats and saltmarsh that form one of the most important estuarine habitats in Europe

Visitors come here to experience two thrilling wildlife spectacles. From late summer through to spring up to 100,000 whirling waders can be seen taking to the air as they are driven from their overnight roosts by incoming high spring tides. Then on a chilly winter dawn marvel at thousands of pink-footed geese as they fly in formation against the backdrop of an amber sky.
